AJI-NO-MOTO® is the world’s No. 1 Umami Seasoning. It is a brand of Monosodium Glutamate; a major kind of Amino Acid. AJI-NO-MOTO® means ‘Essence of taste’ in Japanese. AJI-NO-MOTO® is produced through fermentation method (similar to that used in making our own iru, ogiri and daddawa) with its raw material of sugar cane or starch derived from cassava/corn. The finished product is a pure white crystal packaged under hygienic condition in the red and white AJI-NO-MOTO® sachet. It dissolves easily and blends well in many foods and dishes. It is used worldwide in food industry, at home and at restaurants for over 100 years.
